Meet the team
Shermaine is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, Australia. She was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance Creation (Choreography), followed by a Master of Dance, which she completed with First Class Honours in 2016. Shermaine also holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science and Media & Communications from the University of Melbourne.
Shermaine was a recipient of the Victorian Government Scholarship for Dance in 2014 and was also a recipient of the 2015 Regional Training Engagement Fund, through the support of Creative Victoria in partnership with Regional Arts Victoria. Shermaine has worked intensively with dancers and non-dancers alike from ages twelve and above as part of her teaching and creative work.
Shermaine is now back in Singapore, where apart from Pilates, she teaches technical training, contemporary and competitive coaching in dance. She also teaches barre fitness with a keen interest in anatomy and injury management as part of her movement practice.
An individual who strives for excellence, Shermaine constantly betters herself in the different areas of Pilates, Barre and Dance Conditioning.
